All meters used for billing purposes must comply with the European Measuring and Instruments Directive which came fully into force in October 2006.  Whilst meters on this page may no longer be used for billing purposes, if installed and recording accurately they can remain in situ.  However, if a meter required replacing it must be exchanged for an MID approved meter.  Reconditioned meters remain on our website for information purposes only
